Campers share the experience with other like-minded teens from all over the globe. Coolmine Equestrian Camps keep the numbers low to provide a personalized family orientated feel to the camps. Each student will stay in the Equestrian Academy with dormitory style accommodation fully supervised by a member of the team.
More experienced teen riders may choose from the Intensive Eventing Camp, which includes 30 Hours in the Equestrian Academy per week, 7 nights residential accommodation, 3 meals per day with healthy snacks, horseback riding lessons and lectures in Show Jumping, X-Country and Dressage, informative lectures with farriers, equine dentists and chiropractors, supervised Internet access, evening group activities, 24/7 supervision and is specifically for teens who want to improve their skills in horsemanship, Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country. The Horse Riding & Multi-Activity Camp combines Coolmine’s popular horse riding and multi-activity camps into one awesome summer camp. This camp is perfect for teenagers who love animals and are fond of outdoor adventure and activities. CEAD-Ireland has a rich history of horsemanship as well as a fantastic international reputation for providing youth horse sport camps. Ireland is known worldwide as Horse Country after all. In addition to horseback riding, teens get introduced to Irish Culture, may improve language skills and stay active while on holiday in Ireland. Side trips may include a visit to the Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens, Dublin City tours and more.
Coolmine’s local town, Saggart Village, is connected to central Dublin City by Dublin’s Light Rail system known as the “LUAS”. CEAD-Ireland’s top class Summer Camp facility offers junior (10-14 years old) and senior (14-18 years old) activity camps during the summer months & during school holidays. CEAD-Ireland hosts both Residential camps (24/7), summer camps and day camps.
Kids stay in a large hostel style complex of spacious dorm style bedrooms. Each dorm room has an array of comfortable bunk beds varying according to the room size. Full board is included for the junior packages with healthy snacks throughout the day. All meals are designed by a Sports Nutritionist to allow maximum energy be generated from a healthy diet.
Coolmine Equestrian Centre was founded in 1989 by Dr’s Liam & Lynda Lynch. Liam and Lynda are practising Doctors who specialise in Sports Medicine and have designed equestrian courses with health and wellbeing in mind. Coolmine Equestrian Academy Dublin has been hosting equestrian holidays and horseback riding vacations in Irelands capital city since 1991.
Coolmine Equestrian has standards accreditations from AIRE (the Association of Irish Riding Establishments), the BHS (British Horse Society) and the Failte Ireland Equestrian Tourism Centre.
